The original Coro was designed in 1964 and was the tallest building in the Milton precinct for many years.
When the venue first opened it was one of the most fashionable venues in Brisbane and was the first motel issued with a residential liquor license in 1970.
The original motel was demolished in 2002 and the new Coro Hotel was up and running by the end of 2004.
Within The Coro operates The Patio Cafe on the ground level which offers eat in and take away coffee, food and drinks.
The Patio is open for breakfast from 7am to 10.30am, lunch from 11.30am to 2.30pm and is open until early evening for casual drinks Monday to Friday.
Also within The Coro is the functions centre. We have two function spaces available.
We cater for day meetings/seminars and stand up cocktail styled events.
Carparking in the 3 level secure underground car park is free for patrons dining in or attending functions, otherwise The Coro offers casual daily parking for $15 per day.
